Acherounes is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island. Located on the southern part of Skyros, it is protected from strong winds. It is the ideal place for families with ice creams, toasted sandwiches and drinks available in the Pegasus cafe.
There are also sun umbrellas, canoes and pedalots.
Two small tavernas offer Greek food and fresh fish. The port of Linaria ia a 10-minute walk away and within 100 meters there is a bus stop which connects the beach to Chora, the capital of the island (8 KM away), 6 times a day.
The Pegasus Studios are built on this beach, located in a beautiful garden with trees, palm trees and flowers.
